This is the microfilter set for G30 5-series, F90 M5, G12 7-series, G15 8-series, F92 M8, G05 X5, F95 X5M, G06 X6, F96 X6M, and G07 X7 but without HVAC controls for the rear passengers or 3rd row.

A fresh G30, F90, G12, G15, F92, X5, X6, X7 cabin air filter (also known as a microfilter or heppa filter) will allow you to breathe easier, and healthier, by effectively filtering out impurities through your HVAC system. A yearly replacement of your microfilter will ensure dust, pollen, soot, and pollution stay out of your BMW’s interior. This cabin air filter is made by an OEM supplier to BMW and other European manufacturers and uses a multilayer, moisture-resistant filter material with an almost 100% filtration rate. Your microfilter should be replaced once a year or every 15,000 miles.

Regular or Activated Carbon filter? Regular filters are made of paper or textiles that are then electrically charged. The charged filter creates a static surface for foreign particles to cling to. Carbon filters – also known as charcoal filters – also use a textile material but with extra layers of chemically-treated carbon material (literally charcoal or charred wood).

The carbon does a better job of trapping and containing foreign particles which makes it a better choice for heavily polluted areas and especially in stop/go traffic. It also does a better job of filtering odors than a standard paper filter. Because of the more complex manufacturing process, activated charcoal filters tend to be more expensive. We offer both paper and activated carbon filters for your BMW whenever available.
