Elring was founded in 1879 by Paul Lechler. Elring “the original” is their trademark, Elring is widely known as an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) replacement provider of quality parts for European model vehicles. They are mainly producers of gaskets, seals, and other high end supporting components. At the turn of the century (1900), Elring began selling its first gaskets to the automotive industry via its headquarters located in Stuttgart Germany. Since then they have achieved a series of milestones that have allowed it to become a very well known, and highly respected manufacturer around the world. With locations around the globe, Elring is already established as one of the greatest producers of parts for European vehicles including luxury makes such as BMW, Mercedes, Audi and many others, and it is no surprise that they will remain on the cutting edge of technology and innovation as automakers advance their brands over time.
