Facet began in 1946 by Francesco Andriano with the core principles of dedication, skill, courage to do, and to innovate when he opened up his laboratory. Soon after WWII, Franceso Andiano founded F.A.C.E.T with his son Mario. They began creating tungsten contacts for the telephone industry which was then a potential market with rapid growth. Due to the materials used, they were able to enter into another market, now producing plated contacts for ignition components in the Automotive Industry.
